On May 4, 2013, Bil-Jac Foods and the German Shepherd Dog Club of Northern Ohio, Inc. hosted their Annual Hero Dog Awards Presentation for 2012 at Longwood Park in Macedonia, Ohio.
Patrolman Terry Wurgler and K9 Titan received a Top Honor Award for Apprehension and Patrolman Bill Mackey and K9 Bo received a Top Honor Award for Tracking. Both K9 teams were presented a plaque and medal.
