The Ohio Department of Transportation’s (ODOT) Transportation Review Advisory Council (TRAC) has approved $319.3 million of investment in 14 major transportation projects for the 2025/26 budget cycle.
Among those is the expansion of the SR-615 / I-90 interchange which will add an additional lane along the SR-615 bridge over I-90 and expand the exit ramps from I-90 to SR 615.
81% of the $12-million project will be funded by ODOT with a 21% local cash match contributed by the city of Mentor.
The next step in the process requires the approval of this funding by the Ohio legislature. Should it be approved, the design phase will commence, and a construction timeline will be announced shortly thereafter.
