The Mentor Pop Culture Show returns to the Mentor Community Recreation Center on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The event promises a full day of nostalgia, community connection, and family-friendly fun for fans of all ages.
The show debuted last year as a larger-scale continuation of the city’s popular Micro Con, which was previously held at the Wildwood Cultural Center. The new location provides expanded space for vendors and a wider array of activities.
Attendees can shop and browse from over 55 registered vendors occupying over 70 tables filled with comic books, video games, toys, vintage clothing, collectibles, sports cards, Pokémon cards, sports memorabilia, and much more. Visitors will be able to buy, sell, and trade throughout the day.
The show has its share of unique attractions. Last year’s standout was a life-size R2-D2, and visitors this year can expect to discover rare and hard-to-find items such as vintage toys, classic comic books, and specialized collectibles. Participating artists include The Art!ficer, Bossome Art, Part 1 Printing, Tridimension Printworks, and Vitromancy Art.
“This year’s attractions include a Cosplay Contest running from 1:00–2:00 PM, a Nintendo Wii station, photo booth, a larger selection of vendors, and special guest Super LEGO Dad,” said Recreation Coordinator Brandon Eichholz. Additional activities include an arcade, LEGO building, Nerf Zone, Kids Zone, and coloring stations, ensuring there’s something fun to see and do for every member of the family.
The event maintains a strong family-friendly focus, with visitors of all ages expected. Even those who don’t consider themselves pop culture enthusiasts are encouraged to attend: it’s an excellent opportunity to mingle with the community, support local businesses, and enjoy a healthy dose of nostalgia.
While Northeast Ohio sees many card shows and toy shows throughout the year, Eichholz noted that this event stands out because it features vendors from across the entire pop culture market. Plus, the price of admission is hard to beat at just $2 per person.
Raffles and door prizes will be available throughout the day.
