The City of Mentor is required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to prepare an Annual Action Plan to govern the use of the Federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds. These funds must primarily benefit low- and moderate-income persons. Per HUD regulation and the City of Mentor’s Citizen Participation Plan, two public hearings will be held by the City of Mentor.

The first public hearing was held on Thursday, April 15th at 2:00 PM. The second public hearing will be held on Monday, June 28th at 3:00 PM. Participants can access the meeting by clicking on the following link:

This meeting is not required for CDBG grant applicants, however, participation is encouraged.

The proposed allocations for the FY 2021 Annual Action Plan will be announced and public comments will be solicited, including ideas regarding the community’s needs, resources, and priorities.

Written comments or questions may be submitted to Stephanie Johnson at Johnson@cityofmentor.com or 440-974-5714.
