Mentor Recreation’s Junior Olympics will be held Friday, June 26th, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at the Mentor High School Track. The event is open to all children in the Mentor Public School district and is free of charge.
Boys and girls can compete in age categories: 6-7, 8-9, 10-11 & 12-13. Children can participate in 1 field event, 1 running event and 1 relay. Relay teams can be put together at the meet. Participants must wear tennis shoes. No spikes are permitted. Ribbons will be awarded for first, second and third place. Event winners will compete at the Lake County Junior Olympics event on June 30th in Perry.
