The City of Mentor manages a number of social media accounts on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube, in an effort to keep residents informed on what’s happening. We also follow a number of accounts to keep a finger on the pulse of the community.

Socially media has become a preferred method of communication today. It’s helped us connect like never before but has some shortcomings as well.

Although we do our best to answer questions and respond to inquiries, it’s difficult to track all of the community pages that are out there as well as the comment strings. The best way to ensure your concern is addressed is by contacting the city directly instead of relying on social media.

PUBLIC SAFETY
If you have an emergency, dial 911 immediately. If have a public safety concern, contact the Mentor Police non-emergency line 24/7 at (440) 255-1234 to ensure that your complaint has been received and is addressed in a timely manner.

Be advised that Police and Fire may answer questions on social media but will not be dispatched as a result of a social media or email complaint.

CODE ENFORCEMENT
Our Code Enforcement Office works hard to bring code violations into compliance by directly addressing issues with property owners.

You can reach the Code Enforcement Hotline at (440) 974-5792 or via email at codeenforcement@cityofmentor.com.
