The Mentor Community Arts Commission invites thepublic to an evening of art, music, and history, at “A Summer Garden Party” onSaturday, July 20th, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
Guests will be treated to live music throughout the evening by Latin guitarist Victor Samalot as wellas dulcimer and ukulele groups.
Working artists will be sketching and painting while the Cleveland Museum of Art presents the Cleveland,Cradle of Creativity: Artists of Our Region exhibit along with theinterpretive guidance of two docents.
Guests willalso be able enjoy interactive comedy entertainment, drop-in ballroom dancinglessons, stained glass demonstrations, fire jugglers, tours of the historic ManorHouse, and a complimentary 5x7 personalized photo taken by their on-sitephotographer.
A silent auction concludes the evening with theopportunity to bid on the unique pieces created by the evening’s artists.
Hors d’oeuvresand desserts will be available.
Tickets can be purchased for $40.00 each by callingthe Wildwood Cultural Center at 440-974-5735. This is a 21 and over event. Proceeds support the Mentor Community ArtCommission’s [unveiled] Student Showcase.
