An International Finance Seminar will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at the Holden Center.
This seminar will focus on utilizing tools to help area businesses take advantage of different international business opportunities. Topics will include; “SBA International Loans”, “How International Credit Insurance can help increase your sales”, “International methods of payment” and “Foreign Currency and hedging your risks”.
Expert speakers will include: Patrick Hayes, Export Finance Manager for the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA); Mark Klein, Regional Director for the Export-Import Bank of the U.S. (EX-IM Bank); and Chris Pilkington, Senior Vice President and Manager of Foreign Exchange & International Sales for First Merit Bank.
The seminar will run from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The event is presented by the City of Mentor International Trade Initiative and is sponsored by FirstMerit Bank, Lakeland Community College, Lake County Ohio Port & Economic Development Authority, Ohio Small Business Development Centers and the U.S. Small Business Administration.
