A Letter to Belle Meadow Residents
Thank you for your patience and support during the reconstruction of Belle Meadow. We have come to our final phase of the project, which is the asphalt paving. In order to complete the paving, we are required to remove the stone ramps to your driveway for the final grading of the road, followed by paving. This will take a few days, and is scheduled to begin on Monday, October 19th.
This phase requires that you do NOT park your car in your driveway (unless you don’t need to use your car until after October 22nd), OR the roadway during the daytime hours while we remove the ramps, grade the road, and then pave. During those days, parking is recommended on adjacent streets. During the evenings, when the construction crews have completed work for the day, you may park your car on the road in front of or near your house on the non-hydrant side of the street. HOWEVER, the cars must be moved from the road by 7:00 AM the next morning. The paving crews will need access to the entire road on Wednesday (October 21), Thursday (October 22), AND Friday (October 23), and if your car is not moved by 7:00 AM, it will be towed at your expense. You will have access to your driveway at the end of the day on Thursday (October 22), when the base course of the paving operations has been completed on the road. We are scheduled to complete the final pavement course on Friday (October 23).
