Among cities in Ohio with a population of 50,000 or more, Columbus and Kettering have the lowest unemployment rate with 3.4%, and Cuyahoga Falls has the next lowest rate at 3.5%. Mentor has the third lowest rate with 3.9%, and Lakewood has the fourth lowest rate at 4.0%. The City’s civilian labor force decreased 600 to 26,700.
The State of Ohio’s unemployment rate decreased 0.5% to 3.8% in September 2022. The rate for the State was 4.3% in September 2021.
