Several times throughout the year we receive heartfelt thank you letters, cards, and expressions of gratitude, from our residents for our city safety services. We are grateful for your continued support and want to take this opportunity to thank you, our residents and business owners, for always supporting us.

Mentor is an amazing community, and you deserve the best service possible.

In 2023 our fire department responded to 9,779 calls for service. As we do our best to prevent harm and be nice, please remember that we are here for you because of you. Hopefully, you will never require our assistance, but if you do, please be confident that we’ll be there, as we pledge to continue to deliver professional, cost-effective services in a personal, responsive, and innovative, manner that will always serve the public’s best interest.

We know that it is because of you that we have the equipment and resources to carry out our mission. We are proud to serve each of you and understand that we work for an amazing community, and we want you to know how grateful we are for all your continued support. Without you we simply would not exist.

It is very important for you to know care about you and your family, and we appreciate all your support. It is an honor to serve this community. If you have any suggestions or comments to help us serve you better, please contact us at fire@cityofmentor.com or (440) 974-5765.
