A new temporary outdoor art project is coming to Mentor this summer. Five benches, ornately decorated in storybook themes by Lake County artists, will be on display at Springbrook Gardens Park from June through August.
A Storybook Bench Project Gala will be held at Springbrook Gardenhouse on August 20, 2025, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM to introduce the artists to the public.
Interested artists must complete a registration packet including design concepts. Applications must be received by 4:00 PM on March 17, 2025.
This project is presented by the city of Mentor and the Mentor Community Arts Commission. Springbrook Gardens Park is located at 6776 Heisley Road in Mentor.
