Residents are advised that the Mentor Police Department, along with the Mentor Fire Department and mall security, will conduct an emergency response training exercise at Great Lakes Mall. This cooperative effort reflects the commitment of law enforcement and Great Lakes Mall to keep the public safe. The active drill scenario is designed to help with emergency responder training and to demonstrate police response. This training exercise will take place after the mall has closed for business.
This is an informational alert only. The drill WILL NOT be open to the public and the media will not be allowed on property during the training exercise.
