Celebrate Earth Day in Mentor on April 27, 2025

Join the Mentor Natural Resources Division  on Sunday, April 27th, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Springbrook Gardens Park as we celebrate Earth Day!

Guests can explore the splendor of Springbrook Gardens Park on a wildlife walk with a biologist, learn how to identify and remove invasive plants on an interactive hike, and participate in a park cleanup.

Specialists will deliver presentations in the new Springbrook Gardenhouse on moths and butterflies, and Reptiles and Amphibians. A variety of nature crafts and activities will be available as well.

Local, eco-friendly vendors including Rabbit Food, Avonlea Gardens and Inn, Pirnat Garlic Farm, Meadow City Nursery, The Limonada Bar, and more will be on hand with products available to purchase. Free giveaways, native plants, and prizes to participants!!

Holden Arboretum, NE Ohio Public Energy Council, Red Oak Camp, Friends of Headlands Beach State Park, Mentor Tree Commission, Wildwood Cultural Center, The Native Plant Society of Ohio, The Buckeye Trail Commission, and more will have tables and information for the public.
