Waste Management has notified the City of Mentor that effective today, their customer service centers are closed as they actively coordinate to implement remote home bound operations for these impacted employees.
The goal is to resume residential call handing as quickly as possible. Waste Management is making significant investments in technology so the can have our reps set up to work from home, but it will take some time.
Residents are advised that chat and email at wm.com are still available for customer questions but there will likely be delays. Customers are encouraged to use WM’s online tools to set up your account and stay updated on service.
At this time, there is no impact to scheduled residential collection service. All drivers are reporting to work and all collection routes are being run
