The Support Services Division is responsible for the Communications Unit, Corrections Unit, the Records Unit, Property and Evidence Unit, radio equipment, and the Police Department building conditions.
Support Services encompasses many units of the department consisting primarily of civilian employees who provide integral support to the mission of the Police Department. Without any of these components in place, the Mentor Police Department would cease to function in the efficient manner for which it has come to be known. Each of these units is made up of employees who strive to exhibit the utmost of professionalism in their jobs and come to work on a daily basis with a main goal of serving the public.
