Proper export documentation is imperative to the success of a solid export program. The lack or inaccuracy of required documentation can lead to cargo delays, unexpected expenses and penalties. This seminar will provide an understanding of documentary and regulatory requirements and recommendations pertaining to common export documents, transportation documents, export compliance documents, certificates of origin, other certificates for shipments of specific goods, other export-related documents.
This hands-on seminar is intended to develop a working knowledge of export documentation for export transactions and related activities including export licenses/applications and required supporting forms, certifications and other information, export shipping, item classification, customer screening and required recordkeeping.
