On November 25, 2023, at approximately 9:58 AM, the Mentor Police Department responded to Dollar Bank, located at 7891 Mentor Ave., for a hold up alarm.
Upon arrival, officers determined the bank was robbed by a heavy-set, black male, approximately 6’3” to 6’4” wearing a black hoodie, black mask, dark colored pants, and New Balance shoes, who passed a note.
The teller gave the suspect money. The suspect left on foot southbound from the bank. No one was injured. No weapon was shown.
