Residents and businesses along Hopkins Road are advised that Dominion will be performing a gas pressure hydrotest project between the Mentor Dog Park and Terrace Park Road beginning in the coming days.
Work will commence on pressure testing of the lines on Hopkins Road which will require the release of natural gas. Those in the area may experience a gas smell as the pipes are bled. The smell should not last for more than a few hours. The Mentor Fire Department is aware of the project and will be monitoring the process. Please do not call 911 unless you are having an emergency.
Gas service will not be affected.
