SEPTEMBER
20 – Fall for Jazz. The Lake Effect Jazz quartet will brighten your evening with a concert at Wildwood Cultural Center from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
23 – Try Ice Skating on us! Skate for FREE at the Mentor Ice Arena from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
25 – Family Scarecrow Building Contest at Wildwood Cultural Center. Pick up your scarecrow kit on the 25th and join in the fun! Registration required.
OCTOBER
13 – Howl-o-ween Party for Dogs. FREE! Bring your pooch to the party at Mentor Dog Park on Friday, October 13 from 5:30 – 6:30 PM. Dogs must have up-to-date vaccinations, be licensed, and not be in heat, to visit the dog park. For more information, call (440) 974-5720.
21 – Halloween Skate. Come to the Mentor Ice Arena and get spooky from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM.
21 – Monster Bash Theatrical Fright Night at Wildwood Cultural Center. This is a ticketed event.
27, 28, & 29 – Mysteries of the Manor Trail at Wildwood Cultural Center. Celebrate fall with a one-of-a-kind GOLF CART HAYRIDE! Cozy up with your family in golf carts as you take a spooky (but not too spooky) ride on the Manor Trail! Sign up early as this event sells out quickly.
NOVEMBER
18 – The Mentor Senior Center Arts & Crafts Sale. Just in time for the holidays, this sale has all kinds of wonderful gift ideas from over 75 talented vendors.
18 – Turkey Roll on Ice. Ice arena or bowling alley? How about both! Adults 21+ can gather a team of four and register for this fun event that tests your bowling skills while using a frozen turkey as your ball and the Ice Arena as your alley.
Prizes for best game, best team name, and best team uniform. All team members must wear rubber soled shoes. We’ll see you turkeys on the ice!
DECEMBER
3 – The Wildwood Holiday Boutique has over 40 artisans, crafters and vendors displaying their holiday wares, including live and faux holiday floral arrangements available for purchase. There’s also a holiday train display on the lower level of the facility.
5 – Civic Center Tree Lighting. Join us at 6:00 PM as we welcome in the season with holiday lights and cheer, plus a visit from Santa! In addition, the Mentor Ice Arena will be offering Free Ice Skating from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM.
8, 9, & 10 – Santa’s Wild Workshop at Wildwood Cultural Center. This fun holiday treat for kids aged 2 to 12 (with a parent) has become an annual tradition. Meet Santa, Mrs. Claus, and the elves. Make a toy in the workshop, decorate cookies, and play holiday games. Registration required.
11 & 20 – Wildwood Cultural Center Open House
16 – Family Skate with Santa at the Mentor Ice Arena.
16 – Free Holiday Ice Show from 3:45 PM to 5:45 PM.
