The Gin Blossoms will be performing at the Mentor Civic Amphitheater on July 28, 2019. Here is what you need to know.

ADMISSION:  The concert is free, courtesy of Remarkable Lake County and the City of Mentor.

GROUNDS: Amphitheater grounds open at 4:00 PM.

CONCERT: The Diana Chittester Band, will perform at 5:30 PM. The Gin Blossoms will take the stage at 7:00 PM.

SEATING:  The venue does not have permanent seating. Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome. Bear in mind that a substantial number of people are expected to stand near the stage so please plan accordingly if your group intends to sit.

FOOD: Food trucks will begin serving at 4:30 PM and are located immediately adjacent to the Amphitheater. Guests are welcome to bring their own food and beverages with the exception of alcohol and/or glass containers. Coolers are permitted.

BEVERAGE SALES: Beer and sparkling beverages will be sold from 4:30 PM to 9:00 PM. Cash or credit card. ID required.

RESTRICTED ITEMS: No outside alcohol, glass containers, pets, tents, canopies, or grills are permitted on Amphitheater grounds for this event.

RESTROOMS: Restrooms will be open for your convenience at the Amphitheater, Ice Arena, City Hall, Civic Center Pool, and the Civic Center ball fields. Portable restrooms will be available at the south end of Amphitheater grounds.

PARKING: Parking is available at Mentor High School as well as the Mentor Municipal Center, Senior Center, Police Station, Center Street ball fields (weather permitting), and the Laketran Park-n-Ride Market Street Lot. Reserved Parking is located in front of the Mentor Ice Arena. Handicapped Parking is available at the Mentor Municipal Center, the Mentor Police Department, and the first row in front of the Mentor Ice Arena. Parking will be coordinated by Parks Staff and Mentor Police. Attendees are encouraged to also take advantage of street parking where available.

FIRST AID STATION
A staffed first aid station is located on the east side of the grounds next to the Mentor Ice Arena.

DESIGNATED SMOKING AREA
Smoking and vaping is welcomed in the designated smoking area ONLY located at the southeast corner of the grounds.

LIGHTNING ENTRANCE
In the event of sudden inclement weather, a lightning entrance has been designated at the top floor of the Mentor Ice Arena.

TRAFFIC CONTROL: Be aware that Munson Road between Hopkins Road and Civic Center Boulevard will be closed from 2 PM until 10 PM. Some turns and accesses at key intersections will also be limited to expedite the flow of traffic while providing a safe departure for attendees.
