No Parking

There was a tremendous turnout at Mentor Rocks last night and we’re expecting an even bigger crowd tomorrow for our Independence Day celebration.

Guests are reminded that parking restrictions have been in place since June 2023 around intersections and along medians where heavy foot traffic occurs. Parked cars create visual barriers which reduce reaction time should a pedestrian or vehicle unexpectedly appear in the roadway. NO PARKING signs are posted around the Civic Center complex for the safety of pedestrians as well as motorists.

These signs are located on Munson Civic Center Boulevard and along Munson Road from the Pool to the Crossroads curve.

If you park near a NO PARKING sign, you may be ticketed or towed.

Motorists are reminded that Munson Road will be CLOSED to vehicle traffic from Civic Center Boulevard to Market Street between 6 PM and 11 PM tomorrow evening.

Motorists are also advised that the fireworks launch base has been relocated to the Civic Center ballfields this year. Therefore, parking is PROHIBITED along Civic Center Boulevard due to the proximity of the launch base. Civic Center Boulevard will also be closed the duration of the display.

We understand that it can be a challenge finding convenient parking at a Mentor event. Please allow yourself ample time to find a place to park for the enjoyment of everyone in attendance.
