The City of Mentor is preparing its 2022-2026 Consolidated Plan. An important part of the plan’s development comes from the Community Needs Survey. This survey represents one method the City of Mentor will be using to solicit input from its residents, which will guide how the CDBG funds are invested over the next five-year period.

The City of Mentor receives approximately $160,000 each year from HUD and invests in eligible activities, including: housing, economic development, public facilities, social services, and planning. All funded activities must meet one of the following national objectives: Assist low and moderate-income households; eliminate slum or blight; or respond to an urgent need.

All survey answers are confidential, and all feedback will be combined, ranking all responses for each question to generate quantitative data. The qualitative data in the narrative section will help fill in the gaps that go unarticulated in the ranking questions.

Thank you for taking the time to complete this important survey! We look forward to gaining your insight!
