The City of Mentor invites residents to provide input on the proposed use of its Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) allocation received annually through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. A series of three public meetings have been scheduled to help identify and prioritize community needs for the 2022-2026 Consolidated Plan and 2022 Annual Action Plan.
The first Consolidated Plan public meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 from 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM. This meeting will solicit citizen comments for the 2022-2026 Consolidated Plan and address any questions or concerns regarding the Consolidated Plan.
The second Consolidated Plan public meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 from 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM. This meeting will include the announcement of the FY 2022 CDBG City of Mentor allocation; how to access the FY 2022 City of Mentor CDBG Application; and solicit comments for the five-year 2022-2026 Consolidated Plan.
The third Consolidated Plan public meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 from 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM. This meeting will include the announcement of the FY 2022 City of Mentor CDBG proposed awards; solicit public comments regarding those awards; and solicit final comments regarding the Consolidated Plan.
All three meetings will be held in City Council Chambers located on the third floor of the Mentor Municipal Center, 8500 Civic Center Boulevard, Mentor, OH.
