Comedy night returns to the Mentor Civic Amphitheater on Saturday, June 17, 2023, from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM with headliner John Armstrong, featured act John Brown, and host Bill Squire.
John Armstrong is one of the fastest rising comedians from the Cleveland area. His comedy style mirrors his personality: quick-witted and over-the-top. Flowing with charm and charisma, John covers topics like family, politics, and navigating relationships. This unique talent has afforded him the ability to open for such legendary acts as John Witherspoon, Dave Attell, Ari Shaffir, Ms. Pat, JB Smoove, and many others.
John Brown is a Cleveland sports fan by day and stand-up comedian by night. His smooth delivery and clever joke writing has not only earned him regular feature work at clubs across Ohio, but it has also allowed him to perform at both The Cleveland Comedy Festival and The Rubber City Comedy Festival. This co-host of the Brown Petri Dish podcast is quickly making a name for himself as one of the best up and coming comics in the region.
Bill Squire is the co-host of The Alan Cox Show on 100.7 WMMS. In the two decades Bill has been doing comedy he’s amassed over 50 million views across YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. Bill’s latest special Pure BS has over 70k on YouTube. He’s appeared on the show Laughs on Hulu.
