Mentor Municipal Center

The city of Mentor has recently experienced a cyberattack. As a precaution, our hosted servers were taken offline to protect data. There is currently no indication that any private information has been compromised or released. We are in the process of restoring our integrated systems to full functionality in accordance with our recovery plan.  Phone services were initially affected by the attack. Nearly all general service lines have been restored.  Phone lines for general administrative purposes and inquiries for the Mentor Police Department and Mentor Municipal Court should be back in service by the start of business, Monday, October 27, 2025.  9-1-1 service and non-emergency dispatch phone service (440-255-1234) have not been affected.  Residents are encouraged to utilize these numbers as needed.

The city is providing and will continue to provide all services without disruption.  However, you may experience a delay in fulfilling requests related to certain data access as we continue our restoration process.  Some online services may not be immediately available.  If you encounter a problem related to a service need or are unable to reach a particular city representative, please contact either the main published phone number for the respective city department or use email.  A city representative will assist you directly or connect you with the appropriate person.

We appreciate your understanding for any inconvenience you may encounter.  Updates will be provided should services be affected in the future.
