The City of Mentor will be hosting their annual Memorial Day Ceremony at the Mentor Cemetery located at 6881 Hopkins Road on Monday, May 31, 2021 at 10:00 AM. The ceremony will be proceeded by a solemn parade which will step off at 9:30 AM from the Heinen’s parking lot located at 8850 Mentor Avenue. The 1-mile parade route will make its way on Mentor Avenue and then north on Hopkins Road.
Representatives from the City of Mentor and other elected officials will be on hand along with members of AMVETS Post 40 and VFW Post 9295. The address will be given by Congressman Dave Joyce, (R-OH 14th District).
The ceremony will be broadcast live on the Mentor Channel, as well as the City of Mentor YouTube channel and Facebook page.
