The unemployment rate for the City of Mentor decreased to 2.7% for the month of October 2019.  One year ago, the unemployment rate was 3.8%.  In Lake County, the unemployment rate decreased to 2.8% from 3.6% for the month of October.

The City of Mentor’s unemployment rate is the lowest at 2.7% among cities in Ohio with a population of 50,000 or more. Lakewood and Mentor have the lowest unemployment rates at 2.7%. The City’s civilian labor force decreased by 200 to 26,600.

The State of Ohio’s unemployment rate decreased 0.2% to 3.9% for the month of October.
