The City of Mentor welcomes Vipassana Salon & Spa to the Matchworks Building on Station Street.
Vipassana is a full-service salon offering hair care, manicures, pedicures, skin care, massage, holistics and more.
Owner/Master Stylist Lydia Swaney, worked at a salon in Downtown Willoughby for most of her career. It has always been a dream of hers to own her business but wasn’t sure if the time was right. The stars aligned in her case as the idea gained steam and quickly became a reality. She was instantly attracted to the location and played an integral role in designing her space to ensure that it remain comfortable and functional.
Interaction with other businesses in the Matchworks Building has also been key ingredient in what makes her business special.
“Many more great things are sure to come. I’m really excited about all of the people that are in here and working together. It’s becoming a destination,” she says of her new neighbors.
