The Lake County General Health District will be offering a Project DAWN (Deaths Avoided With Naloxone) clinic for all community members on November 8th, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. The clinic is available to anyone over the age of 18 who is interested in obtaining the knowledge and skills to recognize an overdose and use Naloxone (Narcan). Heroin accounted for almost half of all unintentional drug-related deaths in Lake County in the year 2016 and fentanyl-related deaths accounted for almost 70%.

The Project DAWN clinic will take place at the Lake County General Health District, located at 5966 Heisley Road in Mentor, Ohio.
