Mentor City Council adopted Ordinance No. 15-O-9, an ordinance to levy assessments for the construction of certain sidewalks in Zone 4A associated with the 2014 Sidewalk Repair and Pedestrian Safety Program in the City of Mentor on November 4, 2015. Property owners that have had sidewalk repairs performed by the City’s contractor in Zone 4A will have until 5:00 PM, December 4, 2015 to pay for the cost of construction and administrative fees to the Finance Department in the Mentor Municipal Center. After this date, any unpaid construction costs and administrative fees will be forwarded to the County Auditor’s office to be collected through assessment over a three year period.
