The City of Mentor met with Waste Management to discuss late and missed pickups over the past few weeks. Waste Management is implementing an action plan to evaluate route efficiency and improve retrieval time.
Now that spring is here, our annual yard waste program is underway. Just a reminder that if you are placing yard waste at the curb in a can, please ensure that the can is clearly marked YW (for yard waste) and the lid is off. Even though yard waste is picked up on the same day, it’s picked up by a different driver.
Help your driver out by clearly displaying the YW towards the road.
