
Spazzolplastica, an Italian-based leading manufacturer of wire winding products including wire basket spools, plastic spools, and plastic drums, has chosen the City of Mentor as its location for US production operations.

Mentor is a manufacturing leader in the State of Ohio with a strong concentration of research and development, engineering, and metalworking firms serving the advanced manufacturing, aerospace, polymers & chemicals, and biomedical industry clusters. Nearly 300 manufacturers have a presence in the city.
Spazzolplastica will bring eleven new jobs to Mentor and helps strengthen the city’s position in the advanced manufacturing sector.

Collaborative efforts from the City of Mentor, Team NEO, JobsOhio, the Lake County Ohio Port & Economic Development Authority, and the Lake County & The Northeast Ohio Region partnership, were instrumental in attracting this investment and facilitating the company’s entry into the U.S. market.
