MENTOR CITY COUNCIL MEETING
Mentor City Council will meet on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at 7:00 PM in council chambers located on the third floor of the Mentor Municipal Center. Mentor City Council meetings are open to the public and are broadcast live on the Mentor Channel, Spectrum 1024, U-Verse 99, and on our App available for ROKU, Apple, Android, and Amazon Fire. Meetings are rebroadcast numerous times throughout the following week.
The meeting will be preceded by a Work Session at 6:00 PM. The work session will also be broadcast at the direction of the President of Council.
MENTOR BALLOT ISSUE 4
As per city charter, any capital improvement projects that take place in the Mentor Lagoons Nature Preserve must be approved by voters. Mentor Issue 4 will appear on the May 6, 2025, ballot for a proposed observation tower to be built on the marsh rim approximately 1,000 feet from the main trailhead. Learn more.
2025 POOL PASSES NOW ON SALE
Pool passes are now on sale at the Mentor Parks & Recreation Office located on the second floor of the Mentor Community Recreation Center. Those with a 2024 season pass can also renew by calling (440) 974-5720. New memberships or those who no longer have their 2024 season pass will need to purchase a new pass in-person. Passes can also be purchased at Civic Center Pool during pool operating hours once the season begins.The Mentor Community Recreation Center is located at 6000 Heisley Road. ODOT APPROVES FUNDING FOR EXPANSION OF SR-615 / I-90 INTERCHANGE
The Ohio Department of Transportation’s (ODOT) Transportation Review Advisory Council (TRAC) has approved the expansion of the SR-615 / I-90 interchange which will add an additional lane along the SR-615 bridge over I-90 and expand the exit ramps from I-90 to SR 615.The next step in the process requires the approval of this funding by the Ohio legislature. Should it be approved, the design phase will commence, and a construction timeline will be announced shortly thereafter.
