The holidays are just around the corner and we’re all looking forward to spending time with family and friends. In the meantime, here are a couple of things you should know about this week.
Winter/Spring Recreation Guide Now Available
The Winter 2024 / Spring 2026 Recreation Program Guide is now available. Registration for winter/spring recreation programs begins December 2, 2024, for residents/members and December 3, 2024, for non-residents/non-members. Physical copies of the guide should be landing in your mailbox any day now.
Mentor City Council Meeting
The regular Mentor City Council meeting will be held at 7:00 PM in council chambers on Tuesday, November 19, 2024. A budget work session will be held prior at 5:30 PM. Both meetings are open to the public. The regularly scheduled meeting will be broadcast on the Mentor Channel.
Now Hiring
The city of Mentor is now hiring for a variety of full-time, part-time, and seasonal/temporary positions. Visit www.workformentor.com for an up-to-date listing of available positions.
Be a Santa to a Senior
The giving tree is up in the Mentor Municipal Center lobby and loaded with tags representing senior citizens in need in Lake County. Choose a tag, or tags, and purchase the gift listed, return the gift (with the tag attached) to the box located next to the tree no later than December 6th. Learn more.
Hometown Heroes Banners
Banners have been removed and are now available for pick-up from the Mentor Municipal Center lobby during regular business hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Applications for the 2025 Hometown Heroes banner program will be posted in January.
