JUST KIDS STUFF GARAGE SALE
The popular Just Kid’s Stuff Garage Sale will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Garfield Park Pavilion. This is the biggest sale of children’s items around and brings out dozens of vendors and hundreds of savvy shoppers. For additional information or to register for a space, call 440-974-5720. Space rental is $25 for residents and $30 for non-residents. Admission is free for shoppers.
MENTOR CITY COUNCIL MEETING
Mentor City Council will meet on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at 7:00 PM in council chambers located on the third floor of the Mentor Municipal Center. Mentor City Council meetings are open to the public and are broadcast live on the Mentor Channel, Spectrum 1024, U-Verse 99, and on our App available for ROKU, Apple, Android, and Amazon Fire. Meetings are rebroadcast numerous times throughout the following week.
HEADLANDS BIRDING FESTIVAL
The 2025 Headlands Birding Festival will take place from September 19–21, 2025, at Headlands Beach State Park and other select locations. FREE STREET TREES
The City of Mentor manages a street tree program to promote the beautification of our streetscapes as well as help manage stormwater runoff. Each year, trees are available free-of-charge to Mentor residents on a first-come / first-served basis and are installed by City personnel in the public right-of-way.
