The University Heights Symphonic Band will perform at the Mentor Civic Amphitheater on Thursday, July 15 at 7:30 PM.
Under the baton of Music Director Matthew Salvaggio, the band will perform John Williams’ Raiders March, music from the Big Band era, arrangements of the music of Aretha Franklin and Neil Diamond, patriotic selections including the Robert Lowden arrangement of Armed Forces Salute and the Carmen Dragon arrangement of America the Beautiful, and marches by John Philip Sousa (The Washington Post and The Stars and Stripes Forever).
Parking and admission to this event are free. The Mentor Civic Amphitheater features lawn seating. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets. Coolers are welcome. No pets, glass bottles, or outside alcohol is permitted on Amphitheater grounds.
This concert is a part of the Mentor Cultural Arts Series presented by Buyers Products Company and is sponsored by Lake Health, Mutsko Insurance Services, Remarkable Lake County, and Mimi Vanderhaven.
