The City of Mentor Annual Asphalt Repair Program is currently underway. Work areas are Mentor Avenue (SR 20) from Center St. to Garfield Rd. and Johnnycake Ridge Rd (SR 84) between Center St (SR 615) and 8537 Johnnycake Ridge Rd. The road work involves milling/removal of the existing asphalt pavement, pavement repairs, and resurfacing. This work will start the evening of September 17, 2024.
Traffic will be maintained at all times; however, reasonable delays can be expected. Please obey all signage and traffic patterns during these operations.
The work will be performed between the hours of 7:00 PM and 6:00 AM Monday through Thursday. During construction, Phillips Paving LLC will maintain two-way traffic and limited access to all properties will be provided.
We appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation during this construction period. The City of Mentor and our contractors will do everything possible to minimize the inconvenience caused by this type of construction.
