The State of Ohio has announced the reopening of facilities and presented guidelines for the reopening of facilities and activities. As these are public spaces, it is up to the individual, or their parent or guardian, to determine their level of comfort and acceptable risk when utilizing these facilities. Users are required to continue to follow good practices including social distancing and are reminded to stay home if they are not feeling well.
Playgrounds & Skateparks
Playground equipment and skatepark features at Mentor city parks will be available for use beginning Wednesday, June 10, 2020. Users are asked to pack hand sanitizer and to wash hands frequently where restroom facilities are available.
Mentor Ice Arena
Mentor Ice Arena will reopen on Saturday, August 1, 2020. Guidelines will be posted over the next several weeks.
Mentor Civic Center Pool
As previously announced, Mentor Civic Center Pool will open on Saturday, June 13, 2020. Pool access will be limited to Mentor residents ONLY.
The Mentor Senior Center remains closed pending guidance from the State of Ohio. Additional information on other openings will be posted as it becomes available.
