Mentor Lagoons Marina will open May 1, 2020 with the following rules in place:
- Marina is accessible to dockers under contract and family members in their immediate household.
- Dockers may utilize paid or unpaid persons to assist with dock or boat maintenance activities, however, these persons must practice social distancing, maintaining no less than six feet of separation where practical, while performing such work. All persons conducting maintenance activities must depart the Marina premises upon completion of the work.
- No guests will be permitted on Marina grounds who are not directly assisting with maintenance activities.
- All dockers and their family members shall practice social distancing, maintaining no less than six feet of separation, when interacting with other dockers in all areas of the Marina. There shall be no more than ten persons gathered together at any location within the Marina premises. Face masks are recommended when interacting with person outside their household.
- Only the permanent public restrooms will be opened and cleaned in accordance with a schedule posted on the structure. All persons using the public restrooms are encouraged to use face masks and gloves. The City will not provide portable public restrooms. All dockers who choose to rent portable restrooms must place them on their dock space and limit the use to only those renting the dock space and family members in their immediate household.
- Golf carts may continue to be used by persons over the age of 16, however, only persons within the cart owner’s immediate household may ride together.
- Breech of these rules may result in a temporary or permanent loss of dock privileges.
These rules are subject to change based upon orders and recommendations by the State of Ohio and Lake County General Health District.
