A number of Northeast Ohio leaders will come together to present the Foreign Trade Zone & Logistics Update. The event will be held Thursday, March 5, 2015 – 11:30 am to 2:30 pm at the Holden Center, 4242 St. Rt. 306, Kirtland, OH 44094.
This luncheon seminar will showcase global business support programs which exist for Northeast Ohio businesses. Among those presented will be the Cleveland-Europe Express Liner Service, the Global Trade Group and Foreign-Trade Zone Program.
Featured speakers include; David Gutheil, VP of Maritime & Logistics for the Port of Cleveland, John Senese, VP of International Operations for NEOTEC and Ron DeBarr, President/CEO of NEOTEC which administers of Northeast Ohio’s Foreign-Trade Zones.
Area businesses are invited to hear the benefits of participating in the FTZ program and how to optimize their international business by reducing shipping costs while complying with increasingly complex international regulations.
The seminar is presented by the City of Mentor International Trade Initiative, Lake County Port Authority, Port of Cleveland, Northeast Ohio Trade & Economic Consortium, the Northeast Ohio Global Trade Group and the Mentor Area Chamber of Commerce. The event is sponsored by Weiss-Rohlig Logistics.
