The City of Mentor is advising that the paving of portions of Hendricks Road (between White Oak and SR-2) and Hopkins Road (between Market Street & Gatewood, and Hendricks and Rosewood) will begin soon. Milling/removal of the existing asphalt pavement will be commencing on or about October 7th with new asphalt paving to follow shortly thereafter. In addition, portions of the Hendricks Road bike path will be repaired. All work is scheduled for completion by October 31, 2019.
Traffic will be maintained at all times by flagging operations, however; reasonable delays can be expected. Please follow all signage and traffic patterns during these operations.
The work is anticipated to be performed between the hours of 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM Monday through Friday. During construction, Chagrin Valley Paving will maintain two-way traffic and limited access to all properties will be provided.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation during this construction period. The City of Mentor and our contractors will do everything possible to minimize the inconvenience caused by this type of construction.
