NOACA develops and regularly updates bike maps for all 5 counties within the NOACA region in collaboration with county and local governments, metroparks systems, and non-profit organizations. These maps are intended to help residents and visitors of all ages and experience levels navigate their communities safely by bike.

The process has begun to completely update the Lake County Bike Map in 2019. The new bike map will show roadways according to who might feel comfortable riding on them. The map will also include bike lanes, bike routes (marked with “sharrows” or other pavement marking and/or signs), multi-use paths and trails, and even mountain bike trails.

NOACA will be seeking input from Lake County residents of all ages and biking experience levels at a series of upcoming public meetings throughout the county. The meetings are open-house style, so please stop by even if you can’t attend the whole meeting. There will be a short presentation followed by an activity to help form the new map.

Look for the maps to be available for free in Spring 2019.

The Mentor Municipal Center is located at 8500 Civic Center Blvd, Mentor, OH 44060.
