APPROVAL OF MINUTES REGULAR MEETING OF AUGUST 13, 2024
OLD BUSINESS
1. THOMAS PAUL & JOHN & STACEY CADDEL FOR 6305 TALL OAKS DRIVE, PP16-C-080-B-00-057-0 requesting a variance to Sec. 1165.01(a)(3)(b)(3)(4) & Sec. 1157.11 of the Mentor Code of Ordinances to allow a 1,224-sq-ft. detached garage at a 5-ft. rear yard setback and a total lot coverage of 33.95% in lieu of detached garages in excess of 576-sq.-ft. be setback a minimum of 20-ft. from the rear property line, shall not exceed the maximum allowable garage area of 576-sq.-ft., and shall not exceed a total lot coverage of 30% in the R-2, Single Family Residential District.
NEW BUSINESS
2. MATT LALLO FOR RUFF NEON & LIGHTING MAINTENANCE, INC. requesting an Administrative Appeal of the decision of the Chief Building Official to revoke Contractor Registration (REG-31142), as regulated under Sec. 1307.05 of the Mentor Code of Ordinances.
3. TIMOTHY & BARBARA FAHEY FOR 7590 PALMERSTON DRIVE, PP16-C-073-J-00-017-0 requesting a variance to Sec. 1165.02(a)(2) of the Mentor Code of Ordinances to allow a 6-ft. solid fence in the front yard in lieu of fences shall not exceed 3-ft. in height and shall be decorative in the R-2, Single Family Residential District.
4. MATT EDGELL & DONALD & KAREN WATSON FOR 7192 HAWTHORNE DRIVE, PP16-C-068-B-00-041-0 requesting a variance to Sec.1155.01(b) of the Mentor Code of Ordinances to allow a 204-sq.-ft. home addition at a 40-ft. rear yard setback in lieu of the 50-ft. minimum rear setback required in the R-2, Single Family Residential District.
