MENTOR FARMERS MARKET
The Mentor Farmers Market is held Fridays from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Eleanor B. Garfield Park from through September 12, 2025. Established in 2003 as the Old Village Market, the Mentor Farmers Market has grown to over 30 vendors per week. Shoppers can enjoy an afternoon under century-old shade trees while supporting local farmers and artisans. MENTOR CRUISE-IN
Come one, come all, to the Mentor Cruise-In on Saturday, August 9, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Mentor Civic Center Complex, located at 8500 Civic Center Boulevard. Mentor’s annual car cruise was first held in 2002 and attracts upwards of 800 vehicles and 2,500 spectators each year. All cars are welcome, from classics to street racers and vintage RVs, from the 1990s to Scooby Doo’s groovy van, and more! Free admission and parking. No dogs, alcohol, rollerblades, or bicycles. POOLS CLOSE
The last day for the 2025 swim season at Civic Center Pool and Morton Pool is Saturday, August 9, 2025, from 1 – 8 PM. The splash pads at Morton Pool and Edward Walsh Park will remain open through Labor Day.

MENTOR ROCKS WITH FIVE FOR FIGHTING & VERTICAL HORIZON
Mentor Rocks on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, beginning at 6 PM!
Five for Fighting (aka John Ondrasik) is best known for his mega-hit “Superman (It’s Not Easy)”. The singer/songwriter has penned major hits, including the chart-topping “100 Years,” “The Riddle,” “Chances,” “World,” and “Easy Tonight,” which have earned over one billion streams and place him as a top-10 Hot Adult Contemporary artist for the 2000s. His music has also been featured in more than 350 films, television shows, and commercials.
Vertical Horizon experienced meteoric success in 1999 with “Everything You Want”, selling over two million copies. MUNICIPAL PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING – AUGUST 14, 2025
The Municipal Planning Commission will meet on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at 7:00 PM in council chambers located on the third floor of the Mentor Municipal Center.
Meetings are open to the public and are broadcast live on the Mentor Channel, Spectrum 1024, U-Verse 99, and on our App available for ROKU, Apple, Android, and Fire. Meetings are rebroadcast numerous times throughout the following week.
MENTOR CITYFEST
Mentor CityFest returns to Mentor Civic Center Park on Friday, August 15, 2025, from 5:00 PM – 11:00 PM and Saturday, August 16, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
This two-day family-friendly festival is packed with activities, games, live entertainment, food and more! Free admission and parking to the event. Lake County has announced the launch of “VISION 2050”, the county’s first comprehensive plan in over six decades. Public input is vital to shaping the future of Lake County.
