The regularly scheduled Mentor City Council meeting for Tuesday, April 1, 2025, has been cancelled.
YARD WASTE COLLECTION BEGINS APRIL 7
The City of Mentor’s 2025 yard waste collection program will begin on April 7. Collection is limited to 12 units per week. Each unit should weigh less than 35 lbs. Brush should not exceed three inches in diameter and must be cut into four foot lengths and tied in bundles. Grass clippings, plants, leaves, small twigs, hedge trimmings, etc. can be contained in paper yard waste bags or rigid containers up to 32 gallon capacity with holes drilled on the side near the bottom to allow for water drainage. Leave the lid off and mark the container with YW.

The 2025 Tax Season is upon us and the deadline for filing Mentor Municipal Tax forms or Exemption forms is Tuesday, April 15, 2025. Visit the RITA website at www.ritaohio.com to file your taxes, make a payment, check your refund status, view your payment history or send RITA a secure email. The Mentor Recreation Summer 2025 Program Guide has been mailed to residents. Registration for summer programs begins April 7, 2025, for residents/members and April 8, 2025, for non-residents/non-members.
