Eli-Young-w-Sophia-Scott-August-5-2025

Led by an unmistakable vocal and bringing a Texas-rock edge to modern country for 25 years, the Eli Young Band’s never-changing lineup of Mike Eli, James Young, Jon Jones, and Chris Thompson have spent decades on the run, growing from hometown heroes into globe-trotting, chart-topping pioneers.

Since hitting the scene in 2002, the band has produced four #1 singles including “Even If It Breaks Your Heart”, “Love Ain’t”, “Drunk Last Night,” and “Crazy Girl” – which was named Billboard’s Country Song of the Year and ACM’s Song of the Year in 2012.

The group has achieved over 3 billion streams in their career and there’s no sign of their slowing down. Their new album “Strange Hours” drops on August 1, 2025, and they will take the stage at the Mentor Rocks summer concert series on August 5, 2025.

Breakout country artist Sophia Scott  will perform from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Originally hailing from Boulder, CO, the singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist found a home in Nashville, TX, by continuing a time-honored tradition of storytelling with no shortage of gusto or grit. Sophia released her debut album and made her Grand Ole Opry debut in 2023 and currently has over 60 million streams.

Eli Young Band will take the stage at 7:30 PM.
