Mentor City SealThe City of Mentor is required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to prepare an Annual Action Plan to govern the use of the Federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds. These funds must primarily benefit low- and moderate-income persons. Per HUD regulation and the City of Mentor’s Citizen Participation Plan, two public hearings must be held by the City of Mentor.

The first public hearing was held on April 16, 2020. The second public meeting will be held on July 22, 2020 at 3:00 PM and only accessible via WebEx. Participants can access the meeting by clicking on the following link:

During this public meeting, the City will solicit input and comments regarding the use of FY2020 CDBG funds prior to the submission of the FY2020 Action Plan to HUD.
