Mentor City Council will meet on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at 7:00 PM in council chambers located on the third floor of the Mentor Municipal Center. SUMMER CAMP REGISTRATION
Registration for 2026 camps begins February 5 at 8:00 AM for residents and February 9 at 8:00 AM for nonresidents. We highly recommend registering online as we anticipate a very busy registration day! Don’t have an online account? You must set one up in person or over the phone to affirm residency ahead of time. RITA NON-FILING LETTERS
Mentor residents who may have missed filing a municipal tax return in recent years will be receiving a letter from RITA (Regional Income Tax Agency) in the coming days. You may not owe any income tax and may have simply forgotten to file, but if you have received the letter, please follow the enclosed instructions. Not responding to the letter will likely result in a formal subpoena. Learn more…
HOMETOWN HEROES
Registration for the 2026 Hometown Heroes banner program is now underway. A limited number of banner positions are available, and requests will be honored on a first-come / first-served basis. Banners measure 30” x 60” and are double sided and will be displayed on light posts along Center Street between I-90 and Mentor Avenue from Memorial Day through Veterans Day. At the end of the season, banners will be taken down and given to families/sponsors as a keepsake.
